One of the best things about being an advisor is reading what others in your field have to say about various topics. There is a broad array of information about many different things. Sometimes I read for curiosity and other times I read simply to gain perspective about an area of personal finance that is important.
Every once in awhile I come across an article that I think is important to discuss. In this instance it is the idea of buying a house while having student debt.
There is no denying the fact that student debt is a large burden on millennials and it continues to grow every year. While the debate on how to solve the problem is a topic for another day, I did come across this article from Bankrate that does an excellent job of addressing how to make a home purchase with student debt.
