I have always believed that education and learning is fascinating and important to further ones perspective.  I never would have expected to get into finance and really knew nothing about it until I got to college.  After my first finance course in college, I went home that night and researched as much information as I could about the subject.  It was fascinating how vast and specialized certain areas of the financial world could be.  It only took one night for me to be hooked, and it became very clear early on that money and financial matters were paramount to almost everything in this world.  It was through this experience that I decided to pursue a financial career so that I could be involved and learn about so many different industries.

In this blog, I will attempt to take current financial issues, along with long term financial strategies, and educate the reader in a way that makes comparisons to real life issues that everyone faces.  The goal is not to make predictions and give direct financial advice, but to relate financial topics to the reader so that they can better themselves or at the very least have a different perspective.  I know finance can be boring at times and hope to make it more entertaining by intertwining opinions on current news, trends, and culture along with anecdotes from personal experiences that can be relatable to the reader.
